Hi, I'm Kimberly, and I'm so glad you're here.

Whether you've followed my photography journey for years or you've just discovered my work, welcome to this new chapter.

After more than 15 years as a professional photographer, I've decided to start fresh with a brand-new blog. While I've shared thousands of images over the years, I wanted a place where I could share more than just photographs. I wanted a place to share stories, photography tips, client experiences, local recommendations, and a little bit about the person behind the camera.

So, I thought the best place to start would be with a simple introduction.

How It All Began

Like many photographers, I didn't set out planning to build a photography business.

What started as a love for preserving memories gradually turned into something much bigger than I ever imagined.

Over the years, I've photographed everything from newborns and weddings to families, athletes, professionals, and high school seniors. Each season of my business taught me something valuable and helped shape the photographer I am today.

For more than 15 years, I've had the privilege of photographing hundreds of seniors, families, athletes, and professionals throughout Oswego and the surrounding communities. I've watched families grow, photographed seniors before they headed off to college, and celebrated milestones alongside so many incredible clients.

Those relationships are one of the greatest gifts this career has given me.

Why Photography Means So Much to Me

Photography is about so much more than taking beautiful pictures.

It's about preserving moments that can never be recreated.

It's about helping a senior feel confident and celebrated.

It's about giving parents images they'll treasure long after their children have grown.

It's about capturing connections, milestones, personalities, and memories before they become moments of the past.

The photographs matter, but the experience matters too.

I want every person who steps in front of my camera to feel comfortable, confident, and cared for throughout the entire process.

Always Learning and Growing

One of the things I love most about photography is that there is always more to learn.

Throughout my career, I've invested heavily in continuing education by attending conferences, workshops, and photography training events throughout the United States. I believe my clients deserve a photographer who is continually learning, evolving, and refining their craft.

I am proud to be an award-winning photographer and an active member of both Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and Professional Photographers Association of Northern Illinois (PPANI).

My work has received recognition through professional image competitions and has been published in magazines and industry publications.

While I'm grateful for the awards and accomplishments, what means the most to me is the trust my clients place in me to preserve some of the most important moments of their lives.

A Little About Me

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and our three boys.

If you know me personally, you know I rarely sit still for long.

You can often find me cheering at a baseball game, planning our next travel adventure, working on a home project, volunteering in the community, or attending a photography conference somewhere across the country.

I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and finding ways to turn ordinary moments into lasting memories.

I believe photographs are one of the few things in life that become more valuable as time passes.

That's why I never take for granted the trust my clients place in me.
